All agencies that sign up to FORT are required to agree and adhere to the Fife Rights Forum Information Sharing Protocols. The FRF Information Sharing Protocols set out the principles, approaches, working relationships and processes that enable the development and implementation of FORT, and are based on a national template for Information Sharing which forms part of the guidance issued by the Home Office. As the FORT Data Controller, Fife Rights Forum is required to periodically evaluate the level of Information-Sharing Compliance by assessing FORT system use amongst all FORT signatories. A risk assessment is carried out to establish each FORT signatory’s level of associated risk. Based on this assessment agencies may be recommended for audit.
