| Penumbra is a voluntary organisation providing short term housing support service in the West Fife area of Fife for people who are experiencing mental health difficulties. To assist, advise and support people to gain responsibility for their tenancy focusing on the practical issues, budgeting, accessing professionals their health and well-being. Penumbra is committed to Recovery from mental health problems. Recovery is about a decrease in focus on mental health, working out ways of coping, self help, taking responsibility and having hope. | Referrals are considered from people who require short term support, up to 2 years, over 17 years of age, have a mental health difficulties and have a tenancy. Referrals from professionals as well as self referral.
From 1st September 2010 all referrals for short-term housing support should be made via FORT to the Advice and Special Needs Team. Make A Referral |
