Barony Housing Association
| Introduction | Referral conditions |
As part of Barony Housing Association Ltd, Barony Care Services provide a range of community-based supports throughout the central Fife area to vulnerable adults within their own tenancies and across our two ‘contact point’ day centres. Within our Housing Support Service, our main aim is ‘to offer support where necessary to vulnerable adults in ways which respect and increase their independence’. This means that our team of experienced support staff can help individuals live a normal life within their community by offering support and advice on a range of issues. This may include: - Personal finances (help / advice on budgeting or paying bills), Domestic tasks (help to develop laundry, shopping, cleaning, skills within your home) and Social Structure (help to attend appointments or find out about local educational / employment resources). |
Referrals for short-term support (up to two years) will be considered for adults appropriate to this service.
From 1st September 2010 all referrals for short-term housing support should be made via FORT to the Advice and Specific Needs Team. Make A Referral |
