| Recycle Fife is a social enterprise with charitable status which was set up in 2003 in response to the proposed landfill site at Westfield. We provide recycling services close to source through kerbside collections for aluminium and steel cans and office paper (including confidential shredding). The service covers commercial customers as well as households. Currently working in partnership with Kingdom Housing Association to provide recycling facilities to their tenants and shared owners. We provide employment, training and volunteering opportunities, particularly for those furthest from the job market, including New Deal Placements and work experience placements. We also promote the importance of recyclng and reuse through presentations and workshops and through in school educational seminars.
